Jon Freeman interviewed by Dr Nicholas Beecroft and Melanie Mortiboys on the Future of Capitalism. Jon is a Director of the Centre for Human Emergence in the UK. He describes the shift in values we need to make to relate differently to money to put it back in its place as our servant, not the other way round. He is informed by his deep knowledge of Spiral Dynamics which he describes as an upgrade to the human “operating system.” He succinctly sets out the challenges and limitations of capitalism. It doesn’t prescribe particular strategies but rather posits some basic principles and values which might guide us in our debates about how to evolve it for the better.
