I let out a frustrated groan, and started slowly nursing my drink. I had to squirm in my seat a little, but I was still confident I could make it.

She was intentionally drawing it out. Did she know how badly I had to pee, that my bladder felt like a water balloon on the verge of exploding? Or did she just think I was desperate to get that kiss? I sipped and squirmed and half-listened to whatever it is she was talking about.
