Blood Cast

Seraphine is the creator of all witches. When she was twenty five her clan had moved on. They her left her to fend for herself. That was when the fates came and offered her the gift. Since then she has been creating witches all over the world. It hasn’t always been easy, but she wouldn’t trade it.
Now there are two councils, one dark and one light. Her sons are destined to rule them. Edward has always been her favorite. She wasn’t allowed to raise her children on her own, but she made a point of checking on him his entire life. Michael was her first born and a problem child. When she finds out that Michael is to lead the light and Edward to lead the dark she is thrown.
Michael had come to punish her and her lover Jordan. According to the laws, that she had written, they were not to be together. In Leabhar, the book of laws, it stated that any witch not fated couldn’t be together. Jordan and Seraphine weren’t fated. Michael was going to kill Jordan, but Seraphine stepped in the way. Jordan healed her and then left her.
Fifty years later the Duncan coven decided they no longer needed a creator. They sent one of their own to kill Seraphine. He wasn’t strong enough. She swore a blood cast over his dead body to illuminate his entire coven. It takes her several years to dwindle them down to only six left. On her second to last kill, she is surprised by the sudden appearance of Jordan.
They reconnect and she finds out that he only left to spare her life. When she consults the book she finally figures out how to solve their problem. She takes the law out of the book. Moments later they are blessed by the fates to become a mated pair. The fates come to them and offer to make Jordan a creator if they will complete the blood cast. They do and the fates keep their word. They make Jordan the creator of all gargoyles.
Now Seraphine is confronted by different problem. She is mated to Jordan and doesn’t know what will happen when she conceives. Their son is born a powerful cross between the two of them. Seraphine consults Leabhar again to find herself blessed with another gift. She is now also able to be a gargoyle. The family trains to take on the growing threat.
