A Rose for Lancaster

In the year 1486 the war of the roses is over and Henry VII sits on the throne manipulating the noble families of England in an attempt to secure his power. He turns an eye toward Blanche Langley, one of the remaining unmarried Yorkist women, and arranges a marriage contract to ensure loyalty to the crown.
Blanche resists the unwanted match to a man beneath her station and thwarts the union at every turn but the handsome Giles Beaufort is both patient and charming, a combination difficult to resist. Tensions flare as a plot to overthrow the king is discovered and as the York forces gather to make one last effort to win the throne will Blanche use the opportunity to betray her king and her husband?
