Carole lives in her own little world, doing her own thing. She works part-time as a gardener for an old man who lives alone in a cottage just outside a small village, inheriting the job after her father was electrocuted, whilst he was mowing a lawn one day.
Carole’s quite happy, until the old man suddenly dies. Then, her world is turned upside-down when she meets, David, the new owner of the old man’s estate.
There is always a problem trying to form a relationship from scratch, especially when both parties are introverts, unable to hold meaningful conversations, and unwilling to be submissive, neither liking to be told what to do. Both Carole’s and David’s worlds are slow, boring, and uneventful.
What happens when two introverts collide?
They’re like two magnets, continually repelling each other.
Will these two ever get together?
She has strange feelings since the old man’s death. So, what is it that’s playing games with Carole’s mind?
The worst thing about being the subject is, not knowing you are the subject.
