Amelia Borer is 25 years old and from a well-born family. However, Amelia is anything but a wilting socialite as she's working on her master degree in Amsterdam in 1940. She believes herself to be a strong woman and refuses to think about the secret love affair she had with the forbidden man who broke her heart not so long ago. Until one night, Amelia's lover comes back begging for her help in the midst of Nazi occupation. He is after all a Jewish man. Will Amelia scramble to the man she swore off from for good?
