A Day Out

Hearing about accidents or the death of a known person she would have run out of her house to the house in mourning, but it was not like that.

Once when she had heard that a particular neighbor’s daughter got engaged, she had almost run out to meet the girl and her parents. Nothing of the sort had happened.

Once, a neighbour had told her that a great saint was going to preach at the local temple that evening, she had quickly completed all her work at home and almost sprinted to the temple to make her place secure among the audiences.
