After Instar Loach is kidnapped, Jason and his fellow Road Toads flee bucolic Cane Riverton and embark on a perilous journey north to battle the tyrannical despot Blastocyst. Smitten with Veronica, Jason bravely guides the Road Toads through rousing adventure and harrowing escapes.
