Napoleon and the Bridge at Arcole

Louis Bonaparte serves as his brother Napoleon’s aide-de-camp (ADC) in the Italian campaign of 1796. A fellow aide-de-camp asks Louis ‘Is your brother a genius, or a madman with the luck of the devil?’ In the bloody battle for the bridge at Arcole, Napoleon almost dies, Louis finds an answer to the question, but they both lose a friend.
