Book 1 in the Ripper's World post-apocalyptic series. Ripper Lee, vintage fighter, saw the world collapse under a viral blight inflicted by the pharmaceutical giant Viral Benefits Corp. He was amongst the survivors who escaped from the mounds of the dead in the remains of the old world. Through the smoke the lucky ones emerged into a new world of rampant profit and corrupt corpies.
