The Long Drive Goodbye

The Long Drive Goodbye is a short story that follows a woman that has had enough with her husband’s cheating. She decides to leave her home with him in New York and move back to her hometown of Chicago. We follow their sixteen-hour long car ride together and learn about the events that lead up to the breakup. She talks about her feelings and how she still loves him. This story is really about how sometimes, love isn’t enough to save a marriage.
