It wasn’t until the fourteenth of July when Brooke Jenkins first saw Drake Willings. It makes sense why it took so long for them to finally meet. Brooke Jenkins worked as the head librarian at the Marquette Library. She was a shy, calm, collected, and very smart woman before she met Drake Willings. She could read five books in a week. Her life, simple as can be, consisted on working at the library, walking five blocks to her small apartment on Fifth Street, feeding her two cats, named Hubert and Hutton, and cook her either a microwaved dinner – two nights a week – or will cook swordfish, risotto, chicken, or beets on the other nights. Brooke Jenkins had only few friends, Stephanie, Sky, and Maria, whom were the complete opposite of her, outgoing, sexually driven, alcohol consumers, music listeners, and, in all other words, extroverted.
