Adaptation

Adaptations to their new life involve Maxwell and Ekaterina coping with a shared loss that binds the couple even closer.

Hungry for knowledge and intrigued by magic, Ekaterina seeks the books she long ago spurned, but finds her mind easily distracted by the man who holds her heart. Alone for a long time, Maxwell readjusts to a woman in his world as the little elf sets his senses on alert in numerous ways while he restructures his life to a more honorable status.

Jealousy rears its head as little gifts are given and opportunities arise. With a stronghold on the horizon and confrontation looming, a night with the dragon becomes pleasure. Soft caresses, tender kisses and fervent love fill the couple’s days and nights as they learn what seduces an elf, arouses a dragon and stirs ardent dedication.

Maxwell and Ekaterina are tested and pushed as revelations bring incidents into the light. Clearing the past means starting the future as the couple steps into the lair.
