Shadows and Light at the Winkler Mansion

In Shadows and Light at the Winkler Mansion, a dynamic and authentic friendship between two twelve-year-old boys is tested when it pushes up against the supernatural after a visit to an old, abandoned mansion. Danny and Martin narrowly escape a shadowy, malevolent apparition after a bit of snooping in the long since vacant Winkler mansion. But Martin is not the same after the encounter, his formerly cheerful demeanor has been altered into one of menace, and Danny is suddenly frightened and confused by his friend. A strange man who knows the answers to Danny’s questions comes to visit him. He explains the nature of good and evil, and confirms that Martin’s fate is in Danny’s hands. It will, unfortunately, mean a return to the old house.
