Ember's Fire

Ember's Fire is an Urban Fantasy/Paranormal Romance about a young woman with a gift of clairvoyance. Set in Denver, Colorado where the main character, Ember Summers lives and works. Her somewhat normal life becomes extraordinary after a chance encounter where she discovers that her gift is revered and wanted by a sub-group of humanity that includes creatures she thought only to be myth. The vampires and werewolves are just a scratch on the surface of what she learns to be possible in this new world.

Although Ember takes the news in stride, she quickly learns that her paranormal ability not only attracts unwanted attention but also danger. She stumbles into one troubling situation after another all while trying to wrestle her love life into focus. She is tempted to stray from her boyfriend and struggles to understand why she could be so attracted to someone else.

Her boyfriend Nikko is more than he appears and challenges her preconceived notions of relationships. She is comfortable with him having been friends for years before they got together and any change to that comfort could be disastrous. The other is more than enough to give Ember pause regarding her relationship with Nikko. Although Nikko seems to be the perfect mate for Ember, he presents a certain amount of challenges that make Ember uncomfortable.

Eventually she will have to decide what path her life will take and who will take it with her because without the help of her Guardian, she may not survive to make sense of this brand new world.
