The story follows the blood drenched trail of Leon Klevitz, a young Jewish man who runs away to Miami as a teenager and begins his new life working closely with a drug cartel that controls most of the city. Over time, he begins losing sight of who he is through his greed and materialism, excessive cocaine consumption, and many acts of violence that leaves anybody in the way of his superiors horrifically beaten or killed. All goes well for Leon until one day, his little brother Jeremiah arrives at his doorstep, saying that he ran away as well to find his "big shot" older brother...
