Words from the Heart: Treasured Moments Spent with God

“Words from the Heart: Treasured Moments Spent with God,” is a collection of poetry and writings. As my life has become a day to day journey with Christ; I have found His presence to be very real. As each obstacle faced me head on; God met me, at the place, where I sought for His presence, while He comforted me, with words that could ease my aching heart.
As you read each poem, there is a page of writings that will give you a thought or story, as to how the poem came to be. Some of the poetry dates back, to over twenty years ago…at the time, when I experienced difficult moments of despair.
As you read, “Words from the Heart: Treasured Moments Spent with God,” you will not only experience the moments, when I felt, as if I was in a prison cell of despair and how God set me free but you will also read other poems, that pertain to a country road…a place, where I could get away from the surgeries and pain and rediscover God. You will also connect to the moments, when I felt that I was losing everything in my life, including children and how God allowed me to exchange the heartache, for a new view, of what He longed to do in my life. You, the reader, will also experience the deep moments, when in the midst of my own despair; I found God’s heart, to be a companion, to my own heart. As you read on, you will discover how I found God’s strength, during many moments of weakness and you will come to see, how I found God to be my Father, Friend and only source of hope.
