Is love truly love without its compromises and sacrifices for each other? Love is a bittersweet challenge along the road of life filled with a determination to make compromises and sacrifices for each other in order to achieve trust, intimacy, and security. Love may not be sought by every individual and may actually feared, or even dismissed as a bittersweet dome of meaningless drama. Bittersweet World of Uncertain Hearts entails every reason to long for love, but at the same time, the bitter notes throughout the poems sweep us with caution, skepticism, and an evasion to love. But ultimately, the best things in life are not always simply just bitter or just sweet; sometimes we need a kick of two contradicting, yet compatible flavors, for a complete fulfillment in life- some bittersweet candies for our tongue and thoughts.
