Because they're in the risky business of recovering stolen aircraft, Gabriel 'Tibby' Thibodeaux and Josie Blaine are no strangers to violence. When they’re hired by the US Government to bring a plane back from Russia, it sounds like a cake walk. Then they find out the plane is sitting on a Russian Air Force base. The recovery proves to be a challenge, but our cunning duo pulls it off.

However, they’re barely airborne when they find out that they’ve been duped into smuggling out a political assassin. The next bombshell is they’ve been framed for a major act of sabotage at the Russian air base. Tibby and Josie then have to escape eastern Europe, elude their own FBI and avoid incarceration in a Russian gulag. The chase involves trains, planes, boats and that old escape standby, a Turkish furniture van.
