Anderson I: The Acute Case Of Anthrax

Doctor Martin Anderson is not the best doctor in the universe, nor is he the most experienced.
He's not the best looking, nor is he incredibly intelligent.
He is however, unfortunate enough to be compelled to do the right thing, even if it means stepping on a few toes.

His duties are typically mundane. Clean a wound here, apply a bandage there, but when a particular patient comes into contact with the doctor and his team, eyebrows begin to raise. What is this illness and where did it come from. Furthermore, why is is patient so unwilling to be cured?
Anderson therefore is forced to use everything at his disposal to solve the mystery.

However, the further Anderson digs, the larger the target on his back becomes- for soon he becomes the kingpin of whistle-blowing and very quickly drags his team down with him.

How quickly does it take for a friendship to fall apart?
How far will someone go do do the right thing?
How far will you go, just to survive?
