Two former police detectives steal half a kilo of (supposedly) pure heroin from a novice drug dealer.

Dennis and Jimmy are Narcotics cops who have been on the force for decades. They have taken part in many arrests, countless drug busts. They know the procedure very, very well.

But when they find themselves on the wrong side of the thin blue line - outcast, disgraced and unemployed - they draw on their natural law enforcement skills to make a living.

Brendan is a first time heroin dealer looking to make a sale. Dennis and Jimmy decide to stage a phony drug bust on Brendan, steal his merchandise and resell it using their contacts on both sides of the law.
