African Americans in Literature is the first in the Our Story series leading up to Black History Month. There's more to Black history than slavery . The Our Story series will explore the contributions African Americans have made in various arenas of American life. In particular, African Americans in Literature will introduce the reader to the luminaries of the Harlem Renaissance.
