Castles Made of Sand

This is a short piece of philosophic/speculative fiction exploring ideas of the mind and artificial intelligence. There is a lot that could be expanded on in this piece, and the characters could be fleshed out. But I haven't decided where I want to go with it yet. In the mean time here it is for people who like thought provoking concepts.
