The Apartment and the Machine

An allegory to represent the idea that every individual is of primary importance in our species' quest to understand the world around us, given the constraints of our tendency toward subjective perception. It's along the same lines as Plato's Cave, except with a more optimistic conclusion, for those of us not destined to be genius philosopher kings.
