The Secretive Prince

Chloe Spaulding was an avid wildlife photographer. She was just starting her career and loved spending all her time alone in the wilderness. Only today, there was a storm outside and it was getting much worse. As she started back to the city, she saw a light coming from a house back off the road. She stopped and reluctantly Charles invited her in where she met Michael Douglass. This was his vacation home and he did not want company.
When Chloe went upstairs to shower, Michael saw her through the glass knowing she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen naked and he would have to paint her on canvas while she was here. As the weeks passed he decided to keep her for his wife. She wanted to leave, but he would convince her to stay with him forever and took her to Vegas where they were married. He knew he was being selfish because once she became a princess he would have to take her freedom and everything that was normal for her, away, including her wildlife photography to guarantee her safety.
She learned on their honeymoon that he was a prince in a royal family when his parents and grandparents showed up at the beach house unannounced. She also realized she was no longer free to go outside to the forest to take wildlife photos.
Michael was angry when he realized Chloe snuck outside alone to photograph some wild turkeys with her camera when he told her she could not. He warned her about disobeying him on many occasions, and now he would punish her for this. He sent her to the guest bedroom for the next week, alone with nothing to do. She was extremely depressed, but he had to protect her now that she was a princess.
She put down her camera knowing she would never use it again and would to find something to do behind these walls. Michael insisted she tell him everything she was doing when it came to the outside world knowing it could jeopardize the family name, but she refused. They argued many times about his control but he insisted she tell him everything.
Michael was surprised when Chloe’s father called. The man, who attacked her a few years ago, James Blackmore, was looking for her again and he broke out of jail. The only thing on Michael’s mind now was protecting her. He immediately went to Chloe while Charles his bodyguard, readied his guns. He pulled her down to the floor just as the window exploded from gunfire. He crawled to the hallway with Chloe under him, but not before taking a bullet in his arm wounding him.
The formal wedding for the people was getting closer, and Michael would have to present her as his bride. He had completely changed her life taking everything that was important to her away. He was sure she was pregnant now, and he would never let her out of his sight. He had to give her something back very soon or chance losing her. He wanted to keep her content here and he would make it his life work to show her he loved her.
