A short note gives the context for each Sunday's scripture readings in the Roman Catholic Lectionary – who, why, and for whom.

This volume contains notes for the Sundays and principal feasts in Year B from Advent 2017 to Pentecost 2018. Similar volumes have been published for Year A, for Year B from Trinity to Christ the King, and for Year C from Advent 2015 to Pentecost 2016. The volume for Year C from Trinity to Christ the King will be published in 2016.
