The Summer of Brindle

A girl, a horse, a summer to remember …
Sally sets two goals for her 13th summer―to restore a rescued horse to health and to ride with her friends in the end-of-summer parade with the Cayuse Cowgirls drill team. Ride along as Sally learns to trust her own abilities to rebuild the mare’s health and stamina. Ride along as she and Brindle prepare to join the riding drill team.

Dreams are upset by a potential move to a distant city. Will Sally make mature decisions needed to preserve the progress they’ve made, or will fear and doubt jeopardize their success? Will she reach both of her goals?
