They said falling in love would be the easiest thing in the world. This was not the case for me. I have been used, abused and damaged left to fend for myself. How can someone even love you when you are so damaged?
My family doesn't understand me and even on my best days I don't understand myself. I'm changing and don't know why. I can feel the need burning deep inside me but I don't know how to make it right. I crave and want for something I don’t even know yet.
Everything changed for my twin sister Lucy and I, we lost everything. Everything we thought we knew was a lie, now we have been placed into the care of the Judicial council, a council lead and run by a group of supernatural creatures whose job it is to keep the mortals unaware of the creatures walking around beside them.
We have found out that we are indeed something different. Something that needs to be protected at all costs. That would be alright with me if the man placed in charge of looking after me didn’t make me burn for him the way I do. I don’t want to desire him the way I do. He both intimidates and makes me crave him in the same breath. Controlling my every move, but yet I enjoy this.
My sister and I have been dealt a bad hand, it is up to us now to make it alright. With the help of the Council and the warrior Dragons we will find a way to right all the wrongs done to us. Well we can only hope anyway. I will do anything in my power to keep my sister safe beside me.
