Seven

My life had been turned on its head and destroyed in a matter of a few short weeks. My beautiful, gentle, loving wife had gone – I’d been robbed of the life we should have had together and in her place I’d been landed with a child that I had absolutely no idea what to do with.
Luckily, I wasn't completely alone - I had my sister for support - and her rather odd but pleasant fiancé, Oliver.
Oliver was weird, there was no getting away from it - but in his own unique way, he helped me through the seven stages of grieving - or at least, I think he did... Maybe I'd have gotten through it all anyway - but it was much better with a little help from my friends...
