‘On the other side of those bushes, in a clearing, is a . . . Flying Saucer . . .’
It’s the dawn of the atomic age. Computers have not yet been invented, and a cure for cancer has just been wiped from the blackboard. Earth is being invaded by Martians in flying saucers.
While the military want to atomic everything in sight, it’s up to egg-head . . . er, scientist Murdoch to talk to the Martians and stop them turning everyone into Jell-o.
This satirical story is written in the tradition of B-Grade stories, complete with all the stereotypes, creativity and effects – flaws and all.
