Through The Din Of Silence

In the future, a genetic epidemic has rendered 9/10 of all human babies born mentally deficient. Governments enacted strict euthanasia laws for those found to have the condition. Gretta O'Donnell-Nelson's first child, Bryson, has reached the age where he will be tested by the Department of Health and Human Services to discover if he has the condition. Gretta knows full well that he does, and that her child will be taken from her and put down, but she loves him too much, and refuses to allow this awful fate to befall him. This is the story of her desperate attempt to save the life of her poor, defenseless baby from the crushing might of a future bureaucracy.
