Dear Santa

Jaxon is only six years old, but in those six short years he's been through a lot. So has his poor, beleaguered mother. Almost all of their difficulties in life come from a single source, Jaxon's father, Craig. It's Christmas time, which comes with a lot of opportunities to get their woes off their minds. Jaxon's mother, after another brutal night with Craig, decides to have Jaxon make a letter to Santa. But, instead of forgetting about his troubles, Jaxon sets out to solve them. "Ask for what you want most, and Santa might bring it to you on Christmas," she tells him. Jaxon takes her at her word, and asks for the one thing that will make the biggest difference in his life.

Christmas is coming, and so is Santa Claus. Just what is it that he has in store for Jaxon...and more importantly for his father, Craig?
