Derrick didn't always treat his dog very well... until the day he got to see himself through his dog's eyes.

Derrick the Dog tells the story of Derrick, a kid who likes to have fun and doesn't like to work. If he could spend all day eating his favorite foods and playing with his toys, he would be so much happier. But when he gets to see what life is like as his dog, Max, he learns a few things about how good he has it...and about how he treats his dog.
