The First Tenet

One evening, Adam Johl delivers a message to the patrons of a New York bar with grand biblical flare: “The world has seven days to repent its sins and have faith in God, or the world will end”.
He and his brother lost the rest of their family in a military bombing, years ago. That message—and the “miracles” that accompany it—is just the start of their vengeance.
Catastrophes follow, seeming to fulfill Adam’s warning, and global chaos ensues. Even Samantha Cott, a reporter who witnessed the initial prophecy, isn’t sure what to believe.
Meanwhile, two FBI agents hunt the brothers and try to stop what they believe to be an incredible act of terror—almost too incredible to be coincidence.
