A preface briefly describes LORAN, its history and potential use with pulsars on earth. I note the advantages of dead reckoning (inertial navigation) and introduce why Mobile Loran might have some advantages. Chapter 1 describes how Loran works. Chapter 2 discusses the advantages of dead reckoning in the modern world. Chapter 3 offers reasons for developing Mobile Loran: breakdowns, search & rescue, heavily defended, as a back up system, inexpensive development costs. Chapter 4 describes how Mobile Loran works, requiring no charts, its security features and flexibility.
