When Alessia Ferrara leaves His Excellency Alessandro Medici-Visconti, she decides to break all ties with her past and starts a new life in another area of the city. She choses a new life helping others less fortunate and as much as she tries to run from her past, a colleague of Alessandro finds her out and charms her into a life of seduction and betrayal. Alessandro’s career skyrockets when he becomes the Prime Minister of Italy and he uses his power to find where Alessia’s hiding. When he finds out that she’s been sleeping with the enemy, he does everything possible to protect her but when terrorists threaten the country’s security, his hands are tied when the country is attacked. Alessandro is at his wits end when he finds out that Alessia is injured in the terrorist attack, he drops everything to be by her side but when she wakes up, she doesn’t remember her past; giving him the opportunity to slip back into her life. Alessia allows Alessandro slowly into her life but when she finds out he’s been lying to her, she’s uncertain whether to stay to face the truth or run.
