The Last Protector

Earth’s Protectors have failed.
The genetically modified beings whose sole aim was to protect the planet have been betrayed by one of their own and systematically exterminated. One hundred years after Earthfall, only two Protectors still live: Olexander Farmer is in hiding on Mandessa, one of countless slave colonies in the galaxy; Mikail Munov—the betrayer, is a high ranking officer in the lizard Armada and has the ear of the Emperor. But Olexander’s secret will be Mikail’s undoing: Yosh, Olexander’s grandson, is the first human to manifest inborn Protector genes. Yosh’s heritage forces him into a war he wasn’t prepared to fight.
His friends are rebels and pirates, Lord Munov hunts him and all of humanity’s hopes rest on his young shoulders. To survive and even find salvation, Yosh must become the Protector the galaxy has been waiting for.
