In this fourth installment of the historical vampire series, Gaius goes to Mammoth Cave and meets Bigfoot. He and one of the female vampires help a young Bigfoot who has dislocated his shoulder. Later, Gaius is caught in a cave-in, and can’t morph into a bat and escape, because he hasn’t drunk blood recently and doesn’t have the energy to change. So what’s a starving vampire to do? And how can Bigfoot help?
