The Unusual Tale of James and Kimberly

James and Kimberly are childhood friends that rarely spend a waking moment farther than 10 feet apart. They live in a small, southern town where nothing too far out of the ordinary ever happens. That is, until they venture out to a forbidden patch of forestry at midnight and are nearly killed by an escaped convict. This would all seem completely within the scope of reality to them, until a police officer informs them that the man that saved them has been dead for a week.

This seemingly sets off a string of unusual events that unfolds over the course of several months, involving James, Kimberly, their friends, and even their enemies. Though it all seems harmless at first, James has a rude awakening when he's presented with a choice - a choice that requires a journey through mystery, morality, love, drama, and the paranormal.
