Pol-i-ti-cian

The title of this fairly short poem is Pol-i-ti-cian. Most people probably agree with the author regarding politicians. They are, typically, greedy. Also, they promise and promise, even though, generally, they have no intention, or the power, to deliver on those promises. The spend money and never have enough. They have all kinds of operations that they want to keep secret. But, when it's election time, they do everything they can to get the vote. But, people are to blame, for they keep voting for the same old lies, over and over. They put the country deeper and deeper into debt. Freedom gets less and less. People are under surveillance no matter where they are in the public areas. The people must casts out the lying politicians and restore the freedoms given by the founders of America.
