In the years prior to the Trojan War, the city of Troy was the dominant force of the Mediterranean and Mikkos, a prince of the Enetian people of Paphlagonia, stood as heir to a kingdom. But the coming years would bring eventful change to both Troy and Mikkos.

While straying from a hunt, Mikkos is captured by pirates and sold as a slave into the house of King Menelaus of Sparta. But when Sparta and the rest of the Greeks declare war on the Trojans and sail for Troy, servitude presents Mikkos with an opportunity for glory and a glimmer of hope that he may return to lead his people.
