In the Line of Ire

"In the Line of Ire" is the prequel to "Past Aghast." Dr. Jack Bass, US Army Medical Corps meets Major Lori Darden, RN during a tense battleground OR scene where they are forced to go above and beyond because their drunken commander, the surgeon on duty, is unable to perform his duty. The surgeon blames Jack and Lori for all of his subsequent career woes and is constantly seeking revenge...sometimes to a deadly end. Jack and Lori try to survive while they determine who is trying to kill them and why.
