Journey of the Running Tree

For over 600 years, ten-year-old Emily Higgins has been living with her grandmother in the middle of an enchanted forest of mystical darkness. She is unable to age, unable to leave... that is until a mysterious man, with his own personal, tiny thunder storm, comes knocking at their doorstep. Her grandmother bids Emily farewell, as it is time for Emily to begin her journey into a strange fairy-tale world full of magic and monsters. But Emily will not go alone. She doesn't have to.
