Bernie Smith was born in Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York. For many years he was a Management Consultant for Fortune 500 companies including Pepsi Cola, GE, Whirlpool, and hundreds of other companies around the world. He was Vice President Long Range Planning at Servistar in Pennsylvania. He currently owns Natural Hydrogen Regeneration, MyGate CEO Measures, and MyGate publications.
While living in Pennsylvania, he got pancreatic cancer and was expected to live only 6 weeks. In the hospital he learned to use the gift of today because he felt that he did not have a tomorrow. That was 27 years ago. Each morning Bernie smiles at his love Judy and prays God to let him to do something of value for others today. And each evening he tells his Judy “Boy was that a fun day!”
Share Bernie’s experiences cruising around the world, sky diving, mountain climbing, riding motorcycles, flying float planes, and running the Allagash river. See how he learned the Power of the Jedi. See him grow from daily paranoia to risking all to win, to love, and to learn.
Bernie would like to thank his brother, Donald, for critiquing his early writing and his wife Judy for believing in him.
