Lent, Little by Little

Living out our baptismal call as followers of Jesus Christ involves many daily choices that, no matter how small, will make us conformed to Christ if we make them out of love. Fr . Tom Connery of St. Peter Parish in Deland, Florida, helps us balance our highest aspirations with the reality of sin and weakness to take the small steps that will open our hearts more fully to God's gift of grace. Sometimes we are called to make major changes in our lives for the sake of the Gospel; more often, small, practical changes bear the most fruit in our lives.
