Maija Finehair, Viking warrior, was killed at the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066 and whisked across time and the heavens by the Valkyries to contemporary New York City. After refusing a seat at the God Odin's mead hall table under the Belvedere Castle in Central Park, Maija goes into the city to make it on her own.
