Criminal Investigative Reporter Victoria Larson is on the brink of a successful career news story, except she is missing some important key facts. When she mysteriously finds a sticky note posted on her office computer from a coworker asking to meet her downtown with information on the case she does not hesitate. But, when the place turns out to be an old abandoned building, and inside she finds not only a dead body, but the perpetrator running away, with chilling promises that she would be next.
When Lieutenant Detective Alexander Curro arrived at his latest crime scene he expected yellow caution tape, blocked road ways, ambulances, police officers, cameras, the usual. What he didn’t expect was the number one suspect or witness, as she demanded to be the same woman he dismissed as just another annoying reporter the day before. After the DNA results of the crime scene come back proving her innocence, and death threats start to surface, can Alexander solve the crime in order to protect Victoria in time, or will it be too late?
