THE LONELY WIDOW

Lucy Forbes, a recent widow, finds herself in a position in life she never before imagined. When Robert was alive, she deferred to him in all activities. His friends were their friends. He required that his wife remain in the home to keep house, raise the children, and insure that meals were prepared in a timely fashion. With him she alone and friendless and wonders if life is really worth living. Her passion for living has abandoned her. One day while seeking the perfect place for her suicide she encounters a ten year old boy who challenges her to dare to discover a future of living and loving. Does her desire for self-destruction out weigh any thoughts of continued existence? Has God deserted her to founder on the rocks of despair? Or, is there an opportunity for loving and living?
