When Detective Webster Coninck arrives at the murder scene outside Tups Tavern, he quickly identifies the body: Tom Johanssen. Former classmate, full of charisma, and a man with enough enemies to line up interviews into next week. Webb finds himself off the case because of his personal history with Johanssen, but Webb believes his local knowledge holds the key to solving the case.
