Teacher's Laugh Lines

Teacher's Laugh Lines is a collection of anecdotal sayings and illustrations of former students that Betty collected over the 30 years of teaching. All teachers develop little laugh lines over the years because of the humorous things that happen while teaching, and I taught Kindergarten for thirty years. Five-year-olds have taught me a lot. I was hired as their teacher, but they taught me. What a wonderful experience this was. It was a very enjoyable journey through the minds of little people. Their understanding of what they are hearing is sometimes far from reality. With five-year-olds you do not have to wonder what they are thinking. Just listen closely and they will tell you everything they know! What a great gift for a teacher!
